A Forum is a small group of YPO peers who meet regularly to exchange ideas and experiences on the issues that matter most. Over decades, it has become the universal language of YPO, creating immediate and meaningful connections among members worldwide.
It also builds the skills members carry into every part of their lives: active listening, coaching, small-group leadership, and conflict resolution.
Forum is more than a meeting. It is a code of conduct that shapes how members communicate with one another, inside the room and beyond.
"Forum confidential" is the cornerstone of the experience and the reason members are willing to be fully honest.
Members share their own experience using a presentation model called the Four-Step Forum Exploration, which invites self-reflection and shared insight rather than prescription.
Every Forum is led by a moderator trained through YPO's Forum Moderator and Leadership Development program.
Forums meet monthly, with annual retreats and ongoing development opportunities.
The chapter operates 14 member Forums and 8 spouse and partner Forums, organized as small groups of 8 to 10 peers. New members are supported by the Chapter Forum Officer, who handles orientation, education, and matching with the right Forum.
Beyond the chapter member Forum, YPO offers several Forum formats so the experience can meet members where they are.
YPO supports every Forum experience with training and development. Forum Fundamentals and Forum Basics introduce the essential principles and the Four-Step Forum Exploration.
Forum Moderator and Leadership Development prepares moderators to facilitate value-rich meetings. Forum SuperCharge and annual retreats help mature Forums deepen their experience or navigate transitions.
